Position : Plant HR Head
Location : Hapur (UP)
Job Objective:
To implement HR Strategies, systems, processes & Policies to help the organisation meet its goals & objectives and facilitate individual growth, motivation and development at the plant level. To manage and lead all initiatives for development of human resources at the plant level, building a performance oriented culture.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Drive the recruitment process at the plant level: Ensure timely recruitment of staff & workers with required skill sets as per approved manpower plan with in reasonable costs.
* Ensure induction, assimilation & completion of joining formalities for all new recruits.
* Work with the Senior Leadership team to drive the career management and employee development philosophy of the organisation.
Drive performance management process for plant and ensure efficient implementation.
* Lead training needs identification for all plant employee and coordinate with corporate HR for development of training programs.
* Review and monitor the development of Training Budget & Calendar for all departments based on the needs identified and ensure adherence to the same.
* Engage with HoDs to encourage participation in training programs towards building employee capability.
* Review effectiveness of training programs conducted through conducting reaction level feedback from participants.
* Monitor timely and accurate payroll management for all plant employees.
* Provide overall supervision and guidance to the attendance & leave management process for plant employees.
* Coordinate execution of various employee welfare activities across departments at plant level.
* Keep and update records of employee uniform and safety equipment.
* Ensure compliance with statutory provisions with respect to people practices and processes.
* Ensure compliance to all labour related statutes in coordination with the Legal Team.
* Drive Performance orientation through regular monitoring, review of performance parameters and providing feedback to team members.
KRA:
Adhering to manpower costs
Handling employee grievances
Ensuring compliance to applicable labour laws.
Effectively manage plant level HR processes
KPI:
% Adherence to budgeted manpower costs (payroll, CL, OT, recruitment, training & welfare)
% Employee queries/ grievances resolved within cycle time.
Number of mandays list due to strikes, lockouts or unrest.
Number of adverse audit remarks or legal notices
Adherence to recruitment and induction cycle time.
% Adherence to implementation of PMS, T & D, welfare & increment processes and guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
Post Graduate in Business Administration or Personnel Management
Desired Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Manufacturing Industry, with at least 4 years as a team manager at plant level
