Job Description:
Industrial
Engineering
§ Calculation of
O.E.E, Non defective rate & Availability of all machines for monitoring the
performance of all manufacturing related departments.
§ Expertise in
conducting Cycle Time study & setting Production norms for all operations
in Die casting machine shop, paint shop & Assembly Shop.
§ Machine modification
& design of new SPM as process requirement .
§ Proficient in using
method study techniques like Line balancing, Time Study & Motion study, for
achieving maximum production with minimum effort.
§ Designing new
layouts and improving existing layouts of machines for maximum utilisation of
resources.
§ Line set up
–conveyor line, machining line, die casting shop ,fettling shop ,Assembly Shop,
§ Setting production
standards and manpower allocation.
§ Calculation of
Machine hour rates and estimation of Pay back for newly proposed machines.
§ Preparing the MIS
Costing &
Budgeting
v Costing of new & existing component.
v Cost Analysis.
v Preparing the Annual budget.
v Design the norms of expenses for all shop .
v Expenses analysis Actual Vs Budgeted and find
out their reason daily basis & monthly basis.
Lean
Manufacturing
§ Increasing
Productivity by eliminating wastes using principles of TPM (Total Productive
Maintenance).
§ Effective analysis
of Man & Machine Loss hours and PPM data for identifying the bottlenecks
for improving productivity and calculating cost of poor quality.
§ Conversant with Cost Savings
in the company by controlling various factors i.e. Tools, Consumables, and
Electricity etc.
§ Inventory management
(ABC & FSN Analysis)- Inventory control for optimal asset utilization i.e.
setting min. and max. stock levels for all components, tools & consumables.
-Removal and utilisation of dead stock and Slow moving items respectively.
§ Conducting trials of
new Tools & Consumables for improvement by process reengineering,
technology absorption and new products.
§
Conceptualising
and implementing low cost automation for cost savings by reducing manpower and
optimum utilisation of machines. Space saving by single piece flow with the
help of automation of material movement.
§
Use
of 7 Q.C. Tools like , Graf,Pareto Analysis etc. for analyzing data of
improvement projects .
Production
§
Monitoring
processes & identifying deviations towards ensuring that the same will
consistently manufacture products meeting pre-determined specifications and
quality attributes.
§
To provide training
of improvement project in down line.
§ Prepare daily 24 hours reports for
management information achievements and short falls and identify bottlenecks.
§ Implementation the SMED (Single
minute’s exchange of die).
§
Involving in new
die casting tool, fixture & jigs development work.
§
Identify the cost
saving area and implementation.
§ Training the workman
as per the specific requirement and trying to achieving zero-error level.
§
Ensuring
maintenance of proper Working Conditions, Housekeeping, Discipline and Safety
at the workstation by following 5-S principles.
§
Use
of KAIZEN and POKA YOKE activities for continual improvement in Productivity,
Quality & Safety of product.
§
Preparing
& implementing Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
§ Maintaining proper
documentation as per TS-16949 .
Production Planning
& Control
§
Member of SAP implementation team of the company for PP module.
§ Involving in SAP
activity & trouble shouting on daily basis in PP module
§
Preparing
the master data Routing ,BOM, material master in SAP of new
components
§ Calculating Capacity
utilization of all machines for proper planning to meet customer requirements.
§
Overseeing
production related tasks including planning, procurement, control & trouble
shooting for achieving the planned periodic
schedules.
§
Forecasting production based on lead time of all BOM items.
