We are looking for Technical Assistant with one of our Die Casting Industry at Aurangabad.

It was established in 1985 to manufacture Aluminium Die Casting products at Aurangabad, Maharashtra (India). It is a global force in Aluminium Casting (including Alloy Wheels), Suspension, Transmission and Braking products with annual sale revenue of US$ 519 Million (INR 31,381 Million) from domestic operations and approx. US$ 183 Million (INR 11,072 Million) from overseas operations for the year 2013-2014. This Group has 19 Plants across India, Italy & Germany.

Position Title: Technical Assistant

Location: Aurangabad

Reporting To (Position): CTO

Qualification:

Mandatory - Graduate (BE/BTech) in Mechanical/Automotive

Preferred - Post Graduate (ME/MS/MTech) in Mechanical/Automotive

Experience: Number of Years - 6 to 8 years

Function - New Technologies

Technical/Functional Knowledge and Skills required:

1. Automotive product development- Expertise in design and development of automotive system/ subsystem
2. Hands on experience in technical project management
3. Hands on experience in 3D modeling using CAD software preferably Pro-E
4. Exposure to advanced automotive technologies preferably in the area of Suspension, Brakes & Transmission
5. Knowledge of Design Verification & Validation
6. Exposure to overall Product development life cycle and Software development life cycle for Automotive applications
7. Awareness about manufacturing processes for Suspension/Brakes/Transmission products
8. Expertise in systematic benchmarking of relevant products
9. Strong engineering fundamentals & good contacts with research labs, institutes
10. Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (SPC, ANOVA, DOE)
11. Team player
12. Problem solving in a methodical /systematic manner

Key Deliverables / Accountabilities of the Position: Roles & Responsibilities are as below

1. New technology landscaping- Keep update & monitor closely current technology & developmental trends across suspension/ brakes/ transmission industry
2. Monitor & document 2 wheelers sales data, analyze the same & circulate amongst the R&D team
3. Work closely with outside consultants/ research institutes/ technological partners for design & development of new technologies for suspension/ brakes/ transmission systems
4. Benchmarking study for advanced technology products
5. Interact with suppliers during new product development
6. Competition watch form new technology perspective
7. Co-ordinate the VAVE activities across all R&Ds
Computer/ System knowledge & skills required: Programming language C, Python scripting, MS Office
