We are looking for Production Head with one of our Die Casting Industry at Chennai.

It was established in 1985 to manufacture Aluminium Die Casting products at Aurangabad, Maharashtra (India). It is a global force in Aluminium Casting (including Alloy Wheels), Suspension, Transmission and Braking products with annual sale revenue of US$ 519 Million (INR 31,381 Million) from domestic operations and approx. US$ 183 Million (INR 11,072 Million) from overseas operations for the year 2013-2014. This Group has 19 Plants across India, Italy & Germany.
Position Title: Production Head
Location: Chennai
Qualification: Mandatory - BE Mech
Preferred : MBA
Number of Years - 15 Yrs
Function - PDC, Die Maintenance, PPC, Melting, Fettling etc
Technical/Functional Knowledge and Skills required:
1. Hands on experience in handling HPDC M/c's with low & high tonnages, Melting and Fettling Operations.
2. Exposure to PQCDMS of die casting operations
3. To Plan & achieve production targets
4. Achieving OEE as per target
5. Exposure to TPM
6. Experience in Die-Maintenance
7. Experience post cast operations
8. Exposure to TS 16949 quality systems
9. Managing a Team and achieving production target
10. Ensuring safety in m/c's and creating safe work environment
11. To handle both internal as well as external customers
12. Productivity Improvement & new product development
Any unique soft skill / behavioural requirement:
1. Team Leader
2. Positive attitude
3. Inter-personal skill
4. Communication
5. Action Oriented
Key Deliverables / Accountabilities of the Position:
1. To make production plan and achieve as per target
2. Resource planning & optimum utilization of available resources
3. Reducing waste & maintain spares cost as per target
4. To achieve OEE as per plan on month on month basis
5. To control rejection level as per target
6. Creating accident / incident free environment
7. Smooth handling of post-cast operations
8. Implementation of TPM
Computer/ System knowledge & skills required: SAP, MS Office
