We are looking for AGM / Sr. Manager -SCM ( Function - Lead position - Vendor Development ) with one of our reputed Manufacturing Industry at Hapur.
Company Profile : It is a Rs 6000 million worth conglomerate with diversified business interests in the area of Agro & Interior solution. It has taken an integrated approach for all its operations. In Interior solution, it manufactures raw materials like laminates, ply woods, pre laminated boards to value added products like Post Formed components, ready to fit Furniture and Restroom Cubicle.

Functional areas : MRO, Consumables, Engineering Items, Tooling, Professional Services, Operating services, Capital equipments& Raw Material of the Group
Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering with 13--18 / 10-15 years of Experience in Process Industry/ Power / Oil & Gas / Textile / Sugar / Chemicals Etc.
( Automotive Industry Candidate not preferred )
Responsibility : In charge of all plants of company where decision is taken from Hapur Plant.
Main Job Responsibilities :
1. Responsible for Development, Pricing / Sourcing / Procurement function of bought out materials likeMaintenance, Repair and Operating spares and consumables (MRO).
2. Procurement of Quality Engineering Goods &Spares/Consumables purchase , all types of spares like pumps ,motor, electrical, mechanical and miscellaneous itemsof Right Quality & at Right time, Right cost .
3. Plan and Procurement of all kinds of Engineering items and materials, Industrial & domestic electrical parts, Safety & protection related accessories, Hardware,Wooden &Corrugated Packing, Printing & Stationary, Computer Hardware & accessories .
4. Contracts and work orders Items, Service Contracts (Canteen, Transport, Manpower, Housekeeping, and Gardening)
5. Capital purchases(Capex / Opex purchase ) ,and revenue purchases.
6. Raw material requirement fulfillment of the Group ( Various Plants and different Locations ).
7. Responsible to handle material requirement of various Plant Locations operating at different parts of Country.
8. Requires to work along with maintenance department for Maintenance, Machine spares, AMCs,Hydraulic & Pneumatic spares procurement.
9. Candidate is expected to formulate sourcing strategies, select suppliers, consolidate supplier base, negotiate prices, Reduce cost Year On Year, Co-ordinate with various departments and plants and ensure timely availability of non-production requirements.
10. Should have expertise in Vendor Assessment, Vendor Selection and Vendor Management,Vendor Development and Vendor Evaluation & Capable of developing Vendors independently.
11. Evaluates the vendor w.r.t. technology, manufacturing systems, Quality systems, managementcapabilities, design expertise, tooling capabilities, current performance
Preparing procurement related technical and commercial terms and conditions & good in Document control.
12. Develop negotiation strategy related to Purchases and lead negotiation to arrive at business agreements with vendors.
13. Reviewing Vendor performance and taking corrective actions to ensure timeliness and Quality of supplies
14. Ensure regular follow up with the suppliers, Monitor & Improve supplier performance.
& Develop new alternative sources of supply
15. Cost estimation , Price comparison and negotiation, Strategic development & implementation of sourcing strategies/ cost reduction efforts.
16. Coordination with Quality/Production department and part clearance
17. Preparation for achieving ISO - 14001 & TS 16949 documents.
18. Inventory management , Responsible for replenish the Stores for Indirect Purchase items, Monitoring Level of Inventory by ABC analysis / FSN analysis
19. Support for new initiatives and trial activities
20. Timely MIS Reports
21. Candidate MUST be conversant in ERP system and Computers.
22. Candidate should be good in analytical comprehension.
23. As Raw Material is coming from various countries, so the candidate should preferably be having some knowledge of Imports , LC detailing and mode of shipments Knowledge.
