We are looking for Patent Analyst (Sr. Engineer/Executive/AM) -R&D with one of our Die Casting Industry at Aurangabad.

It is a global force in Aluminium Casting (including Alloy Wheels), Suspension, Transmission and Braking products with annual sale revenue of US$ 519 Million (INR 31,381 Million) from domestic operations and approx. US$ 183 Million (INR 11,072 Million) from overseas operations for the year 2013-2014. This Group has 19 Plants across India, Italy & Germany.

Designation:    Patent Analyst (Sr. Engineer/Executive/AM) -R&D

Location :   Aurangabad

Responsibility.
Performing freedom to operate (FTO) searches with paid patent databases
State of the Art Search and analysis
Patentability search and analysis
Patent portfolio management
Technology watch by tracking patent publications
Competition watch
White space analysis/ Technology landscape/forecasting in different search areas.
IPR training for designers and engineers

Key Performance Indicator.
1. No of search requests with reports
2. No of Patent portfolio report
3. Monthly report on patent publication and competition watch
4. No of White space analysis report on various technologies
 

Critical Skill Sets.

MUST HAVE

1. Adept in novelty, validity and state of the art searching.
2. Possess analytical skills to extract the essence of an invention.
3. Possesses basic knowledge of IP search tools, standard application, IP business process software, databases and documentation.
4. Knowledge and hands on experience of search engines meant for prior art searching are desirable.
5. Possesses good technical knowledge of english to the extent of formulation of search queries with synonyms.

SHOULD HAVE

1. Team player
2. Manufacturing Process Knowledge
3. Computer basics - MS office, excel, power point

Educational Qualification. MSc/ B.E/B Tech in Mechanical/ Automotive/ Manufacturing/ Mecha-tronics

Experience :  Atleast 2 years relevant experience as IP Analyst
