We are looking for Manager / Sr. Manager CPDC - Tool Design with one of our Die Casting Industry at Chakan Pune.

It is a global force in Aluminium Casting (including Alloy Wheels), Suspension, Transmission and Braking products with annual sale revenue of US$ 519 Million (INR 31,381 Million) from domestic operations and approx. US$ 183 Million (INR 11,072 Million) from overseas operations for the year 2013-2014. This Group has 19 Plants across India, Italy & Germany.

Designation :  Manager/ Sr. Manager CPDC  - Magma

Location :  Pune

 Qualification:
 Mandatory – B Tech / M Tech from reputed institutes

 Preferred – Candidates with specialization in CAE / FEA analysis for Fluid Dynamics and Thermal behavior and interested in die casting field can be considered.

 Experience:

Number of Years – 8~10 years

 Function –
 The job requires strong technical, engineering, logical, analytical and manufacturing skills
 Good understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics CAE / FEA process
 Good knowledge of Thermal Simulation
 Good drawing reading and interpretation skills

 A hand on experience on the CAE / FEA / Magma simulation software is preferred.

 Technical/Functional Knowledge and Skills required:
 Pre and post processing of simulation, results analysis and preparation of next step

 Establish the co-relations with the practical shop floor results on Flow and Thermal behavior
 Guide and support the team for the Fluid Dynamics and Thermal behavior principals
 Design calculations for the runners, gate and machine parameters
 Collect the process inputs for tool design to optimize the casting process.
 Work closely with the process engineer and implement the process know-how in the tool design
 Maintain systematic record of the simulations / design data and the results obtained

 Any unique soft skill / behavioural requirement:
 A good team player and able to work in cross-functional teams.

 Should have leadership qualities to lead the team.

 Key Deliverables / Accountabilities of the Position:
 Simulation of the die casting process in Magmasoft
 Interpretation of simulation results and convert the same into design and process parameters for first time right castings
 Smooth functioning of dies during die trials and production

 Ensure defect free castings as per customer requirements
