We are looking for Dy. Manager- Strategic Sourcing with one of our Alloy Wheel Manufacturing Plant at Sanand, Gujarat.

It was established in 1985 to manufacture Aluminium Die Casting products at Aurangabad, Maharashtra (India). It is a global force in Aluminium Casting (including Alloy Wheels), Suspension, Transmission and Braking products with annual sale revenue of US$ 519 Million (INR 31,381 Million) from domestic operations and approx. US$ 183 Million (INR 11,072 Million) from overseas operations for the year 2013-2014. This Group has 19 Plants across India, Italy & Germany.
Position Title: Dy Manager – Strategic sourcing
Location: Sanand, Gujarat
Reporting To (Position): Functional – Sr Manager – Strategic Sourcing
Qualification:
Mandatory – BE / B Tech
Experience: Number of Years – 10 – 12 years relevant experience
Function – Strategic Sourcing
Technical/Functional Knowledge and Skills required:
• Background and direct experience in Operations, Direct Procurement, and Commodity Management Articulate written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executive management.
• Strong team building skills with experience working with Design Engineering, Operations, Finance, and other groups in a organization.
• Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated history of cost reduction results utilizing negotiations,, specification optimization, and yield improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated problem solving and mentoring skills including setting timeline and diligent follow-up to resolve problems & meet product operations requirements.
• Should have the knowledge in learn manufacturing system like , TPS, TPM,
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with ability to successfully interact with all levels, internally and with supplier’s Sr. Management.
• Project Management experience managing in accordance with cost and timing goals and deliverables.
• Working knowledge of Quality methods associated with PPAP, process capability, and statistical process control.
Unique soft skill / behavioural requirement:
1. Good at networking with people – both internal and external
Key Deliverables / Accountabilities of the Position:
• Costing for new product.
• Developing, implementing, and communicating Commodity Strategies that provide strategic vision, best in class pricing
• Maintain subject matter expert skill set regarding supply base, trends, and market conditions.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to support future technical, and capacity requirements, and optimize total cost..
• Development & maintenance of Commodity and Preferred Supplier Strategies in collaboration with senior team
• Demand planning & Capacity mapping
• Ensure supply chain flexibility, identifying potential risks to production and implementing contingency support plans including:
• Drive cost reductions thru negotiations, VAVE, Alternate source, leverage opportunities, multi-sourcing, design optimization, and yield improvements.
• Drive supplier performance and improvements through Score Card and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring support throughout products life cycle, from initial design, to NPI and production ramp
• Bench Marking in term of sourcing Process, Product quality & cost
Computer/ System knowledge & skills required: SAP, MS Office,
