We are looking for Sr. Manager - Environment with one of our Die Casting Industry at Aurangabad.

It was established in 1985 to manufacture Aluminium Die Casting products at Aurangabad, Maharashtra (India). It is a global force in Aluminium Casting (including Alloy Wheels), Suspension, Transmission and Braking products with annual sale revenue of US$ 519 Million (INR 31,381 Million) from domestic operations and approx. US$ 183 Million (INR 11,072 Million) from overseas operations for the year 2013-2014. This Group has 19 Plants across India, Italy & Germany. 

Position:   Sr. Manager - Environment

Exp ; 12 - 15 yrs

Qualification:   BE ( Environment ) / M.Sc. Environment

Position Required for:

The position of Environment person is corporate based role. The incumbent will be actively involved in all legal and technical environment related activities.
This person will be responsible for monitoring of company, customer and legislative environment requirements.

Task and duties to achieve role and position:

1. Provides techno – legal support and information to all cluster business unit heads to ensure compliance with all applicable central as well as state level environment legislation.
2. ETP/STP technical evaluation, identifying/ evaluating agencies for operation and maintenance of ETP/STP.
3. Monitoring legal compliance related to PCBs (CTE/CTO renewal, Haz waste report submission Etc)
4. Evaluation & monitoring of consent conditions of plant ( Analysis of drinking water , ETP water , work place monitoring, Soil Sample , Noise level monitoring , Lux level monitoring , Stack Monitoring , sludge analysis , ventilation study , Ambient air monitoring )
5. Mapping and tracking of environment compliances in Anupalan system
6. Hazardous waste management, Suggestions on 3Rs, disposal coordination with central scrap committee.
7. Ensuring On line Submission of Environment Statement of all plant.
8. Internal & external environment audit compliance
9. Make budget proposals for environment compliances
10. Implementing Corporate EHS programmes and audits.
11. Implementing robust Environment Management Systems like ISO 14001
12. Implementing kaizens / Management Programs for continual HSE improvement.
13. Reporting compliances in Anupalan system. 
14. To Guide the Manufacturing Engg./ Production for designing the environmental solutions to comply with legal requirements. 
15. Imparting system awareness trainings to line management
16. Prepares daily, weekly and monthly activity and other reports as directed. 
17. Ensure the environmental monitoring is done as per consent requirements and corporate guidelines. 
18. Generate MIS for corporate on monthly basis.
19. Sustainable (Go Green – 3Rs, Waste to Wealth, Water conservations) operations initiatives
