Job Description and Responsibilities
As sales manager, the position is responsible for sales and marketing of the assigned region, reporting to the General Manager (Sales & Marketing) of the
Company. The key responsibilities include,
1) Achieving the annual sales targets.
2) Timely collection of outstanding receivables & other statutory forms
3) Develop new business either by identifying new customers or by identifying new applications in existing customers to the tune of 20-30% of the annual sales target.
4) Effectively manage the existing Global key accounts and create new key accounts
5) Closely work on fulfillment of demand / forecast / pending orders of customers, key accounts in the region by proactive coordination with order processing, logistic team in Indian HQ and with customers’ supply chain
6) Closely work with project team in Indian HQ for business development
7) Retain the local key accounts & increase business by servicing their needs
8) To make rolling sales forecast after coordination with all key accounts in the region and send it to order processing for inventory planning.
9) To track competitors activities and keep them posted to the management from time to time
10) To keep the order book loaded with pending orders of 3+ months of annual sales target
11) To develop sales through various channels : dealers, distributors, etc
12) Analyze & develop the market share of the company’s business segment spread and report the footprint.
13) Send regular MIS reports
14) Responsible for products / specifications approval and registration with consultants and public sector undertaking.
Requirement:
• BE/MBA with 7-10 years total experience
• Of the total experience, minimum stint should not be less than three years without valid reason in a single company
• Should have adequate business acumen and experience in handling manufacturing related key accounts in Industrial sector
• Should be proficient in communication with English and local language
• Should have IT skills on presentation, MS office, emails, etc as required for the assignment / role.
• Related companies : HVAC, Refrigeration, Electric Motors, pumps, engineering components, OEM sales, energy efficient products, automotive, etc
• Preferably from any air conditioner (AC - OEM Companies)
